About the Course

The Financial ABC's of Retirement Planning Model was developed for people age 50 and up who would like to have an alternative to the typical Wall Street Myths to financial planning. For most conservative investors, Wall Street's approach usually involves more risk than people want to have, or know they have, in their portfolios.

Course Description

This comprehensive personal finance course was designed by David Vick, author of Bat-Socks, Vegas and Conservative Investing, to help you better understand where you are in your financial plan and teach you how to get where you want to be financially. For over 30 years, Mr. Vick consulted with individual investors to understand why some are successful and others are not before writing his book. During this two-day course, you will learn what pitfalls to avoid and why. You will hear about financial tools and investments that you may already have or would like to have as part of your retirement plan. Upon completion of this course you will have the confidence you need to put your retirement plan into action.

This is not a financial seminar, this is a financial course of study where you will leave with the knowledge and confidence to make financial decisions suited to your level of risk and are in-line with the goals and objectives you establish.

Objective Information

Traditional financial seminars are topic-specific and are typically geared toward a certain product; whereas this course is designed to teach you about your money. Upon completion of this course you will understand how much of your retirement is at risk, how much is safe and how much is liquid - and why. This understanding is paramount to building a personal financial plan that meets your needs and not the needs of a "Financial Model."
